Avengelus Granules

Available in 100 g, 1000 g and 5000 g

Mode of action

The genus Trichoderma, just like mycorrhizal fungi, are soil beneficial organisms that form a close symbiosis with plant roots. Since they require the same soil nutrients as the pest fungi, Trichoderma can thereby hinder the development and reproduction of harmful fungi and displace them. Trichoderma atrobrunneum is highly competitive for nutrients and space, as it can grow quickly and uses nutrients efficiently. This improves the microbial balance in the soil, increases root and plant growth and promotes the release of nutrients present in the soil. In addition, special messenger substances are passed on to the plants, which act as “growth boosters” and thus enable faster growth of young plants and better utilisation of water resources in the soil. In this way, periods of stress such as drought or other weather extremes can be better survived.

Application

Liquid soil treatment: Dissolve 1 heaped coffee spoon (= 5 g) in 10 litres of water, stir well and apply to approx. 10 m² of soil. Dry soil treatment: Apply 10 g per m² of soil.

Apply before rain or water by hand so that the spores are flushed into the top 10-40 cm of the soil respectively to the roots.

Treatment of plants: When spraying the plant directly, dose 5 g per litre of water. Avoid washout by heavy irrigation or rainfall during the first 48 hours.

After initial treatment, applications every 4 weeks (soil treatment) or every 2 weeks (plant treatment) maintain a stable Trichoderma population.

Application period

Possible from 10 °C soil temperature during the entire vegetation period

Please note

Store between 10 °C and 20 °C
