Mode of action

Ascovert is a biological liquid extract from sugar beet and the alga Ascophyllum nodosum. The product can be absorbed by the plant directly through the leaf. It improves the metabolism, growth and response to various abiotic stressors (especially cold, drought, heat) of the treated plant. In the soil, Ascovert is metabolised by microorganisms, producing nutrients for the plant.

Application

Irrigation systems and soils: 1.5-3.5 litres per hectare. Foliage: 0.5 litres per 100 litres of irrigation or spray water. Repeated application (up to 3 times) every 7-10 days shows a faster success. For an increase in cold, drought and heat resistance, the product should be applied to foliage before entry or at the latest during the stress event. Waiting period between last application and harvest: 14 days.
